The final international conference of the LOCSEE – Low Carbon South East Europe took place on 18 December at the Radisson Blue hotel in Rome, Italy. The UNEP Vienna SCC office was partner of this project, and co-organized the conference. The conference entitled “From Transferring the EU legislation on Climate Change to Low Carbon Policy Implementation”.

The aim of the conference was to introduce the project results. The first session of the conference underlined the experiences gained in the project in Low Carbon Policies development in the region. The important factor presented is the efficiency of monitoring and the proper reporting of data. The second session was about transferring and implementing EU Climate change legislation. At the end of the conference, the project partners evaluated together the sustainability and future outlook of the project results.
