The ninth Annual UN-EU Partnership report on the results of the collaboration of the UN system with the European Union in 2013, has been launched in Brussels at the occasion of UN Day. The report - "Saving and Improving Lives” - spans the range of joint actions across the world, including on climate change, sustainable management of natural resources, green growth and the protection of endangered species.

In 2013, the UN and the EU worked together to support governments and civil society in over 110 countries. The partnership, as these annual publications demonstrate, continues to save and improve the lives of millions of people in the developing world every year.

The report is prepared by the 26 Agencies composing the UN Team in Brussels, including the UNEP Liaison Office to the EU, under the coordination of the UN/UNDP Office. The report can be downloaded as PDF-file and is also available as web-based version including stories and videos.
