Two Sustainable Public Procurement Prioritisation workshops | |
Two workshops on Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP) Prioritisation are going to be held in Chisinau, Moldova on 6 October, and in Kiev, Ukraine on 7 October. The workshops are organised by UNEP in the framework of the ‘Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood’ programme (EaP GREEN). For the Moldova one, UNEP has partnered with the Agency of Public Procurement of the Republic of Moldova, whereas for the second workshop UNEP’s partner is the State Environmental Agency of Ukraine. The objective of the national prioritisation workshops is to select prioritised groups of products and services that the Market Readiness Analysis activity of UNEP Approach to SPP will focus on. In particular, the prioritisation workshop aims at: i) presenting and discussing the SPP project progress; ii) presenting to the Steering Committee members and relevant stakeholders the UNEP Approach for SPP policy development and implementation in particular with respect to Prioritisation; iii) formally agreeing on the selected prioritised groups of products and services.
